Caleb Needs Our Help
Donation protected
On March 18th, 2016 Caleb woke up on a normal Friday, thinking it would just be a regular day that would include a test or two in school as well as another track practice. Caleb was completing a 400M run and then his life changed. Caleb had experienced a cardiac arrest just after completing his run. With the swift reactions of our coaches, training staff and first responders, Caleb has been given the best chance at recovery that anyone could have asked for in this situation. We want to raise awareness about the use of AEDs and the whole CPR process, as this process saved his life.
We wanted to first of all thank the Revere Family for all of your caring and support over the last two weeks. We can not express how much our spirits are lifted up each and every time we see a card, a text, or see a familiar face. We believe that the thoughts and prayers have not only helped Caleb, but our entire family as well get to this positive point in this long road. Caleb has a long recovery process ahead of him, and he will treat this as just another roadblock in the game of life, with the opportunity to raise awareness for our community as well the whole nation. Caleb is continually doing better each and everyday and can not wait to get out of the hospital.
Caleb will have to make some life changes moving forward, including regular visits to our new doctors and wants everyone to know that he is doing great and can't wait to see everyone. Throughout this new process, we can not thank you enough for all of the time that people have taken out of their day to help us with meals and coming up to visit us. Our Revere Family is truly strong!!
We thank you again for all of your time and support. With us taking work off and continuing through this long process, we whole heartedly appreciate all of the support that everyone has continued to send our way.
Love Ron, Lara
Caleb, Noah and Grace Perkins
