Our dear love Revel (they/we/flux), a divine mixed-race Black (femme), is seeking support for their top surgery, which is currently scheduled for January 2021. They are aiming to raise, in humility & divinity, $22,222. Medically, these funds would cover: surgery, anesthesia, western healing medications, a compression binder and various other medical accessories. We aim to also use this funds to compensate non-western forms of healing, including rotating caretaking by kin and other offerings (medical doulas, grief doulas, herbal remedies, prayer & divination, etc). In their recovery, Revel will not be allowed to travel back rto VA, so this money will also help cover their and their support team’s travel to/from Texas, and their transportation and living expenses while recovering.

A massage therapist, energy worker, healing facilitator, and death doula, flux consistently shows up to help others through the painful, messy, profound processes of death and transformation. An emerging (TRANS doula), Revel’s surgery will not only facilitate a new, emergent, affirmation of their body, mind, gender, & Spirit; it will also inform their spiritual path work of holding trans people through the grief of shedding names and skin as they transform more divinely into yourselves.
