[VIDEO COMING SOON!]
For my 22nd birthday, I’m fundraising $2200 in 22 days to officially found and get the initial capital for my non-profit, the Revark Project.

The Revark Project started in 2014 as a way for me to keep track of, record, and share my personal journey of learning more about my passion for sustainable building methods.
Throughout the years, it has evolved from posters and post-its all over my room to workshop summaries, conference notes, and other published content like videos and blog posts;
Nowadays, it’s main focus is spreading information and access to Sustainable Urban Development throughout the world, particularly in Brazil and the rest of Latin America;
It's stated mission is “Supporting sustainable urban development, particularly in lesser-developed countries and countries in South America, through data-driven and socially-just Public Policy and accessible distribution of information.”

My interest in sustainable architecture and therefore sustainable urban development goes way back to middle school, but it was in 2013, that I first decided to accept and embody that as my personal cause.
Since then, I have merged my passion for learning and volunteering, which I had been doing since 3rd grade, with the goal of creating better cities for us to live in.
Through volunteering, I had the opportunity to be involved hands-on with multiple facets of sustainable development, including policy analysis and advocacy, affordable housing development, earthen materials research, alternative building techniques, and non-profit governance.

The money I'm fundraising will serve the following main purposes:
* Allow me to take one day off of work every week to focus solely on improving and growing the Revark project;
* Cover the filing fees for registering Revark as a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation in the state of Texas;
* Allow me to further my education in sustainable development through becoming accredited in world-leading sustainable building standard programs;
* Cover one year of recurring maintenance costs as well as the costs for this fundraiser.
Want more details of where each cent is going? Here you go:

As you can see, all of the above adds up to $2,378, or $2,678 if I include the LEED certification. So I'm shooting to fully meet my $2,200 goal in the next 22 days and hopefully a little more afterward :)
And for me to accomplish that, I need your help.
Please support me and the Revark project by donating to this campaign and sharing it with your friends and family!
With love and gratitude,
Mila :) from the Revark project
