UPDATE: our wonderful David has gone home to heaven this morning.

Donations made to this go fund me campaign will be transferred to Bruce Grint, long time friend, business partner and Executor of David’s trust for costs associated with the mounting medical costs as well as final arrangements for David.

If you have met Rev. David Akins, this SMILE is not new to you.

David's warm smile, gentle ways, loving guidance, quick humor, and overall generosity of spirit have touched so many of us in so many ways.

David has been the Pastor of The Church of the Rock for 23 years and has brought many people to God through his sermons and studies. He has done this all as a volunteer for 23 years, never accepting a penny for payment.

David has also been a loving guide to countless people through the Reflexions Center in Nampa. The ripple goes far and wide.

It is NOW our time and HONOR to HELP him.

David is currently fighting a very serious health battle and needs ALL of our help to see him through.
