Reusable Water Bottles for Children in India

Dear Donater,

My name is Sujan, and I am currently a sophomore in high school. Since middle school, I have been concerned with plastic waste and how much plastic is thrown into the ocean. Due to this, I have been developing different ways to make bioplastic since 6th grade and have won many awards statewide for my research. When I discovered that I and my family were going to India this summer, I wanted to help the underprivileged kids in any way I could. To do this, I started a fundraiser to raise money to buy stainless steel reusable water bottles for kids in underprivileged areas. I also plan to initiate a recycling movement in local schools to encourage students to stop using single-use plastic bottles. Every dollar donated will be put to use, and after the trip is complete, an update will be posted with the children receiving their water bottles.
