Unconditional love:affection without any limitations or love without conditions. 

At 28 years old I’d never imagined 2,529 miles would separate my mother and I. When we think of mothers we think of everlasting love and unlimited time. She’ll always be a call,hug,and drive away from us, because that’s what mothers do, they love unconditionally. They are always just..there.

My mother April Bowers suffered from mental illness that constantly robbed us of time. For 4 years I’ve been searching for my mother praying she came home, with no luck to locate her.

There was no call or last hug or closure, no final “I love you.” Just a letter that arrived on 12/10 stating she had passed away. Detailing my mother died on 11/26/21 alone in a California hospital.That would be her final goodbye,3 days after her 47th birthday. 

We now face a tremendous obstacle to bring April home because she didn’t leave behind any financial support for her final homecoming. 

Due to the unique circumstances I’m required to fly out to California to retrieve her remains and belongings.

This fund is seeking help for the following:

• A round trip flight from Maryland to California
  
• A hotel for 3 days
  
• A rental car (the closest airport is 40 mins away)
  
• The cost of her final services an out of state cremation coordinated on behalf of the family by Osborne Funeral Home
  

If you ever lost a parent or loved one you know the only thing you ever want is closure. 

I loved my mom more than anyone in the world.
