Reunited After Years: A Son's Tribute

Hello, my name is Anthony Smith Jr., and I am looking to raise funds to help pay for my father’s homegoing service.

Me and my father went over 10 years estranged, and I worked to find him for years, which I did in July of 2024. We were able to catch up and connect again. However, he did not inform me that he had congestive heart failure. I received a text from one of my cousins advising me that he was in the ICU. The first time I saw my father in over 10 years was in the ICU bed, and he lit up when he saw me, my wife, and his grandchildren. I was up at the hospital every day until his final day, and I'm grateful that he helped heal our relationship, prayed, and met his grandkids before going home to be with the Lord. I thank God I was able to show my father that I still love and honor him as it is written in Exodus 20:12.
