Thailand is where I live with my wife and three teenage children. We run a small business there that focuses mostly on tourism. The ongoing Pandemic has wrecked havoc on my industry s well as many others as well. I am now in dire straights and I'm seeking funding to help me reunite with my family.
Due to the ongoing Pandemic, I had no choice but to return to the US to renew my US Passport. Normally, the US embassy in Bangkok offers this service, however, because of the Corvid-19 ongoing Pandemic, the Embassy has cancelled all passport services at this time and has forced my unplanned return to the United States.
Now, I'm here in the US, I have gained part time employment at a farmers market and trying to conserve as much as money as possible. Dealing with my Passport/ Thai Visa renewal, it has been an exhausting, expensive and time consuming endevor. My aim is to raise funds for travel back to Thailand both by my gainful employment and that of the generosity of my GoFundMe contributers.
Now, I am pleased to announce that my travel back home to Thailland has been sorted. My upcoming flight is this Thursday, 04 Feb 2021. I still need to get a negative covid test/ fit to fly certificate as all other documents needed by the Thai Immiration offials now have been sucessfully obtained. Upon landing in Bangkok their is a 2 week Mandatory Quarantine at a Government approved facility awaiting me. All of the entry requirements are as follows: Pre-flight Health Check, Extra CORVID Insurance coverage required my Thai Immigration, addtional Thai Visa Fees and of course the airfare back home that is organized through the Thai Embassy. Everything together adds up to nearly $4000.00.
Like I said above, I have a Part time job stocking shelves at a market and trying to save up as much cash flow as possible for the big expenses that are currently here. Any additional assistance from friends and family are very much appreciated. 4 more days to go!!!
Thank you very much
