Reunite us with Obi-wan and Roxy
Donation protected
Hello! I'm Heather, and that cute man in the photo is my husband Kee. And we would like you to meet Obi-wan and Roxy!
Before coming to us, Obi-wan was a half-feral street dog and Roxy spent the majority of her days locked in her kennel. It took years of work and patience, but today they are model dogizens and an important part of our family. They have been with us through so many of our life's milestones: graduating college, marriage, moving to New York, and now, moving our lives to another country entirely.
Now we are in Australia. It's been a dream of mine for a decade and it has finally come true!
But like everyone, the covid pandemic has made things complicated. Our funds have been eaten into more than anticipated and the cost of bringing our dogs over has grown. We've had to make tough decisions, but leaving our dogs behind is not one we can stomach. They are family. And they are a lifetime commitment that we made when we took them into our homes.
The money we are asking for will be to cover the expenses of bringing our babies over. There are shots, tests, and vet visits. There is airfare, and the cost of the amazing employees who will get them to the airport as we cannot fly back to the States to travel with them. And finally there is the 10 days that they will need to stay in quarantine. All of this is reflected in the goal of raising $16,000. If all goes well, we hope to be reunited with our pups by this December, which will have been a year since we parted.
To those of you who donate, we will be forever grateful. This has been a rough year without our cuddle buddy and our happy girl. If you cannot donate, we understand. This has been a hard year for everyone. If you don't mind though, we would love it if you could share our link with your friends.
And for those of you who donate at least $25, to fully express my gratitude I'd be honored to draw a quick picture of you and your fur-baby. You can email me the picture at:

(without the spaces. There were issues with it as a link)
Now, here are some more pics of our beautiful pups!

And here are some pics of friends and their pets. As I said, I'd love to draw you and yours!
