This family is fighting to be reunited! Right now, the women and children are evacuated safely to Cairo, but their hearts are in Rafah with their beloved father, brothers, and a husband who remained behind in order to ensure the safety of the most vulnerable first and foremost. I ask we do not forsake these selfless souls, these courageous men who are still waiting to be evacuated out of this nightmare.

As a family, they have endured so much unimaginable devastation and suffering. Their homes, their livelihoods, their dreams, all destroyed. All wages and savings wiped out! They are depending on us to survive.

Our goal is simple: raise enough money to evacuate the remaining family members, $15,000. In order to evacuate, the fees to cross the border cost more than $5,000 per person (these fees go to the organization Hala Company). After this, we will raise money to help these people renew their hope for a chance to rebuild their lives.

On a personal note, having met Mohanad and his family and having gotten to know them more and more, I am in awe of their courage, their generosity, and their faith that they will survive! This family is full of some of the most beautiful-hearted people I have ever known. But anyone who knows these precious people understands that to know them is to love them! ❤️‍❤️‍❤️‍ Right now, this family is torn apart.
