Reunite the beloved Fatso with her family in Norway

Update: in the time that this fundraiser was live, we had been told by the vets that Fatso's health check had shown that she was cancer positive. We weren't certain how far gone this cancer was, or how long she had left, but her family here in the UK have spent the last week doting on her and giving her all the love and cuddles she deserves. Her health declined extremely rapidly on Monday afternoon and it was determined that having her put to sleep through the vets was what was best for her. We didn't want her to continue suffering. We have incurred large fees following the emergency euthanasia process, therefore any proceeds that have been raised through this fundraiser will still be spent on fatso. Most importantly, to have her cremated and her ashes spread where her baby boy teddy is buried. Thank you all who were so kind and gracious as to donate to this fundraiser. We are all so very heartbroken.

We're asking for help to bring Fatso home to her long lost family.

Fatso went missing in the UK 8 years ago. This was heartbreaking for her family, who searched tirelessy for her for years. She was an integral part of our family, so it was a very big loss that none of us ever recovered from. On Friday 8th August 2025, she turned up again after all this time. It was a joyous miracle to anyone that knew her.

However, in the time that fatso was missing, her family had relocated to and are now living in Norway. She's an old lady now, and her family would very much like her to live comfortably with them for the rest of her time. Relocating a beloved pet abroad is an unfairly costly process, so we are asking for any help at all to soften the blow of reuniting her with her family in Norway and make it so that she's doesn't spend the last years of her life waiting for a lonely death on the streets. No shelters will take her, no fosterers have room for her. She already has a loving family she can return to with the right help, it would be an injustice to put a cat of her age up for an inevitably unsuccessful adoption.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, even the smallest bit of help is appreciated to get our baby safe and comfortable.
