We are trying to reunite Sabah and her mother. Sabah's mother is a Syrian refugee who has successfully settled in Thunder Bay. She approached us asking for help to bring her daughter here.
Sabah is in Turkey with her husband and children, but could be sent back to Syria at any time and face persecution because they refused military service. Sabah's uncle, who also refused military service was recently killed for that decision.
Please help us reunite this family by contributing and/or sharing widely. If you have any questions, please contact Sam Biggs, Hilda Postenka or Liane Boyer. If the sponsorship is not successful for any reason, we will donate all funds raised to the UNHCR (www.unhcr.ca).
