Reunite Marvel with her family
Donation protected
As some of you may know, my sister Susha and I are from Ukraine. Recently, our hometown Sumy was hit by severe bombing. One of those strikes hit our dad while he was at work. He fought for several weeks in the hospital, but on June 1st, he passed away.
We’ve been doing everything we can to bring Marvel here to the U.S., where she can be with family again. Our dad loved her deeply. He took her on long walks through open fields, and she truly is one of the best, kindest dogs you’ll ever meet.
We’re now working with a phenomenal rescue team to make her journey possible. Huge thanks to Michelle, Kim, Tom and everyone involved - your support has meant everything.
We still need help. Getting Marvel to the U.S. is going to be costly - between transportation, medical paperwork, vaccines, and food, the expenses are adding up quickly. Some of the options we’re exploring could be significantly more than we initially expected.
If you’re able to donate or share, it would truly mean the world. Every bit helps bring Marvel closer to safety and back into the arms of the people who love her.
Anything extra will go to Global Animal Rescue and Response, the incredible team supporting us through all of this.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
