Reuben’s Recovery Fund

Reuben was our saving grace 3 years ago. He came into our lives when we needed him most. He has grown into such a spunky, vibrant little dog, who is so much more than just a pet to us.

Last week he was showing signs of some back pain so we decided to take him into the vet. We started him on some anti-inflammatory medication in hopes that it would resolve itself. The situation quickly became worst case scenario over the weekend, with him becoming paralyzed in his back legs, unable to walk or go to the bathroom on his own. We took him back in Monday morning and was told after testing and X-rays that he has a herniated disc and a very low chance of recovery from the paralysis, with or without extensive back surgery.

At this point we are hoping for a miracle to save our baby boy. We have decided to keep him comfortable at the vet for the time being to see if his condition improves. We would love to get a second opinion and possibly try some alternative treatments before we decide that euthanasia is our only option. Please donate and help us try to save our sweet son.
