On the 19th of April 2026 I will be running the Manchester Marathon for Andy’s Man Club a charity that provides mental health support for men.

Men’s mental health is a growing problem and I’m doing this to encourage more men to reach out and speak up if you’re struggling. There’s always someone you can talk to. Too many men struggle in silence and you don’t need to.

A men’s mental health charity isn’t just a charity I’m supporting - it’s something that has personally affected me. I’ve seen firsthand how hard it can be to talk out about anxiety or depression. There’s many occasions where I’ve struggled quietly. From the outside I looked fine - but from the inside I was battling emotions I didn’t know how to talk about or deal with.

Getting help isn’t just about you. It’s about your partner. Your kids. Your friends. Your team. The people who rely on you. Strength isn’t pretending you’re fine. Strength is making sure your pain doesn’t become someone else’s. Don’t sit around and wait for it to stop - reach out to someone.

I want to break the stigma and encourage more men to seek the help they need instead of bottling it up. Too many Fathers, Brothers, Sons and Friends are lost each year. Life is tough but asking for help is not weakness. Don’t take your own life - because one chapter isn’t the whole story.

You never truly know what someone is carrying behind a smile. Check on your strong friends. Check on your quiet friends. Check on your men.

We facilitate non professional peer to peer support groups across the UK for any man to attend over 18. We provide a confidential non judgemental space for men to come together to chat about anything that they would like to get off of their chest.
