It's with a heavy heart that I share the news of my aunt's passing. She was visiting her elderly mother who was sick in Kenya, but suddenly fell ill herself. She underwent emergency surgery, but never regained consciousness and sadly passed away just two days later.

We are trying our best to navigate the difficult legal and logistical process of having her returned home, but the cost is extreme. I created this GoFundMe campaign in hopes of easing the unimaginable burden on her family during this extremely difficult time.

She had been away from her husband and children for 2 months. She was just a few days from taking a return flight home. Please help bring her back, finally.
