Return to Ethiopia: A Mission of Hope

Hello everyone!

I have the exciting opportunity to go on a missions trip to Ethiopia this spring to partner with a church and organization called Children's HopeChest to engage in transformational, holistic, sustainable, and long-term change for underserved communities. We are determined to help break the cycle of poverty with effective resources and sustainable change.

I believe wholeheartedly in this mission, but this trip holds a special meaning for me in a more personal capacity. If you didn't know, I was born in Ethiopia and adopted as a baby from there. I have never had the chance to return to my roots and see where I came from, so being able to go back to my birthplace, contribute to the community that I came from, and explore any connections is something I have longed for. I am also hoping that sharing my story, experience, and gifts would bring hope and inspiration to those we come in contact with.

However, to make this possible, I need some support. First and foremost, please pray for us to make an impact in the lives of these communities and for the safety of those involved.
