ONE MAN. ONE PAIR OF BLUE SPEEDOS. ONE LAST BIG STOMP!

Everest Base Camp ️ | 1,000 Miles ‍♂️ | The Three Peaks ⛰️ | The Depths of Winter ❄️

I swore black and blue I’d NEVER put myself through this again!

But here we are, babeeee!

I’m about to take on what will undoubtedly be THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE OF MY LIFE!

And this time, it’s about more than the miles, the mountains or me frozen knickers.

It’s about inspiring hope, changing lives and supporting mental wellbeing, while raising vital awareness of mental health and suicide prevention. ❤️

First, I’ll be heading to Nepal on 12 November 2026 to trek to Everest Base Camp in me knickers. Then I’ll be returning to the UK to walk 1,000 miles from John O’Groats to Land’s End, taking on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) along the way in my woffs.

ALL IN THE DEPTHS OF WINTER, WEARING NOTHING BUT ME TRUSTY BLUE SPEEDOS!

I mean, seriously, what was I thinking signing up for something like this? Especially at my age! I’m no spring chicken anymore, you know!

But behind the laughter and the frozen knickers is something incredibly serious.

❤️ MENTAL HEALTH AND SUICIDE PREVENTION

There was a time in my life when all my dreams had been crushed. My mental health had taken me to some very dark places, places where hope felt completely out of reach and I couldn’t see a future for myself.

And although I’ve come a long way, I still struggle with my mental health today.

I know what it’s like to feel lost, frightened, isolated and overwhelmed by life. I know what it’s like when your own mind becomes your worst enemy.

But I also know that things can change. People can recover. Hope can return. And a life that once felt impossible can become a life worth living.

I’m living proof of that.

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that giving back to others has the power to change your own life too.

And that’s why I’m doing this.

TURNING MILES INTO MOMENTS OF HOPE

Through The SpeedoMick Foundation, we’ll be gifting thousands of pounds to small grassroots charities as we make our way through communities the length and breadth of the UK.

These are the little charities doing extraordinary things. Supporting people struggling with their mental health, helping prevent suicide, reaching those who feel forgotten and offering hope to people who desperately need it.

By supporting this challenge, you’ll be helping us give these grassroots organisations the funding they need to continue making a real difference in their communities.

And we’ve got one BIG ambition. To raise £1 MILLION to help support grassroots charities and community organisations making a real difference to people’s lives.

Now, I know that’s an enormous amount of money. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that when ordinary people come together to do something extraordinary, anything is possible.

I consider myself incredibly privileged to be in a position to make even a small difference in these communities.

And that’s only possible because of YOU!

The generosity, kindness and love the general public have shown me over the years has been nothing short of extraordinary. You’ve taken a daft Scouser walking around in his knickers into your hearts, and together we’ve achieved things I could once only have dreamed of.

But I can’t do this without you.

This challenge is going to push my mind, body and spirit to their absolute limits. I know what lies ahead. I know the sacrifices involved. And believe me, there’s a part of me thinking, MICK, WHAT THE BLOODY HELL ARE YOU DOING?!

But there’s another part of me that believes I’ve got ONE LAST BIG STOMP LEFT IN ME!

So I’m going for it.

Not because I’m fearless. Not because I’m invincible. And certainly not because I look gorgio in a pair of Speedos!

I’m doing it because I believe every single human being deserves to feel valued, supported and worthy of another day on this planet.

If this challenge helps one person find the courage to ask for help, one person realise they’re not alone, or one person believe that tomorrow might be better than today, then every freezing, painful mile will mean something.

And if we can raise enough money to help grassroots charities change thousands of lives along the way, well, wouldn’t that be something special?

WILL YOU HELP ME MAKE THIS LAST BIG STOMP COUNT?

So please, if you can, DONATE, SHARE THIS PAGE AND COME ALONG FOR THE RIDE!

Your support will help The SpeedoMick Foundation fund grassroots organisations making a real difference in people’s lives.

Every pound matters. Every share matters. Every act of kindness matters.

And even if you can’t donate, sharing this page could help us reach someone who can.

Let’s turn 1,000 miles into thousands of moments of hope.

Because no matter how dark life becomes…

HOPE LIVES IN THE DARKEST PLACES. ❤️

Keep the faith, lift others, believe in yourself.

WHO LOVES YE BABEEEE! ✌️
