Hello all - We are REINITIATING this GoFundMe fundraiser to keep the juvenile dependency attorney that you generously helped us retain back in November. Immediate family members have pledged funds as well, but we are significantly short of the required retainer and we need funds as soon as the end of the week to cover fees for the upcoming hearing on Monday, September 27th and beyond. Please read the original description below and fundraiser updates we have posted to this campaign.
In summary, we have made significant progress with the current attorney - the court granted reunification services for my niece and her sons back in March of 2021. My niece has had regular visits with her boys and has actively participated in all of the resources the CWS has provided, since they have been made available. However, CWS is going back to their original recommendation of no reunification services and removing my niece's parental rights (which seems to have been their intent since March), even though the judge has provided strong positive feedback in regards to my niece's conduct and visits over the past 4-5 months. PLEASE HELP US CONTINUE WITH THIS FIGHT AND KEEP HER CURRENT ATTORNEY. We have had many victories, but the war is not over yet and we will continue fighting until the end.

My 2 young nephews have been detained by Child Welfare Services & placed in foster care with a NO CONTACT ORDER for the parents by the Judge. This case is confidential because my niece & her children are victims of domestic violence; therefore no names are mentioned. The court appointed attorney is not defending her well at all!! OMG, I could have represented her better and I'm not an attorney!! Therefore we want to hire and retain a juvenile dependency attorney to help my niece before her next court appearance in December to: regain her parental rights, be granted consistent supervised visitations until this case is resolved and most importantly to restore Mother & Children to the loving & caring relationship they had, which has now been severely severed for several months without any contact at all except for 2 1-hour supervised visits. The children are not understanding what is happening to their mom, to themselves, feeling abandoned and not understanding why they can't see her. The Children need to see their mother, talk to her & hear her voice, feel her warm hugs and touches, and for them to see each other's faces & smiles. Please help me to help them to accomplish these outcomes!! Our goal is to raise $12,500(+) to retain the juvenile dependency attorney immediately! Therefore, I am reaching out & appealing to my family, friends, friends of family, missionaries, and angel donors to help us to hire & retain a qualified juvenile attorney. PLEASE!! PLEASE!!! We need your help to save my nephews from being raised in the CWS system!! We just need 250(+) people to donate $50(+).
