Hallo, ich bin Miri und besitze seit knapp 5 Jahren eine Finca in Andalusien, Südspanien. Auf der Finca befindet sich ein kleines Haus, welches früher zum Teil als Viehstall benutzt wurde. Dieses habe ich nicht nur fast vollständig saniert - d.h. alle Dächer, Decken, Böden, Wände und Fassaden neu gemacht, sondern auch eine allererste Wasserleitung vom eigenen Brunnen aus ins Haus sowie entsprechende Abflüsse nach draußen verlegt. Die 3,5 ha Land habe ich zudem stetig beackert und zeitweise große Gemüsegärten gehabt. Auch für dieses Jahr war wieder einer angelegt. Auf lange Sicht, möchte ich hier Touristen einen Platz zum Ausspannen und zur Ruhe kommen bieten. Jedoch ist mir das zurzeit vergönnt. Nicht nur mich, sondern auch viele andere in den umliegenden Dörfern hat eine schwere Flut erwischt. Unfassbare Regenfälle haben meine gesamte Finca sowie den unteren Teil meines Hauses, alle Wasser- und Abwasserleitungen, den Weg zur Finca und viele Bäume und Pflanzen schwer in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. So auch einige Olivenbäume, dessen Öl ich einmal im Jahr auf dem Coburger Weihnachtsmarkt verkaufe. Schon jetzt ist der Schaden kaum in Worte zu fassen. Ich bitte eigentlich nicht gern um Hilfe, aber in diesem Fall ist es zu groß, das alles alleine zu stemmen. Daher würde ich mich wirklich über jede Spende freuen, womit ich mein Haus und mein Land nach dem Unwetter wieder aufbauen kann und mit meinen Plänen, hier irgendwann auch Touristen ein Plätzchen abseits des Stadttrubels und in einer unter sonstigen Umständen wunderschönen Gegend bieten zu können. Hello, I'm Miri and I've owned a finca in Andalusia, southern Spain, for almost five years. On the finca is a small house that was previously used partly as a cattle barn. I've not only almost completely renovated it – meaning I've redone all the roofs, ceilings, floors, walls, and facades – but I've also installed the very first water line from my own well into the house, as well as the necessary drainage to the outside. I've also consistently cultivated the 3.5 hectares of land and at times had large vegetable gardens. I had even planted another one this year. In the long term, I want to offer tourists a place to relax and unwind here. However, that's not possible for me at the moment. Not only me, but also many others in the surrounding villages have been hit by severe flooding. Incredible rainfall has severely damaged my entire finca, including the lower part of my house, all the water and sewage lines, the path to the finca, and many trees and plants. This includes several olive trees, whose oil I sell once a year at the Coburg Christmas market. The damage is already almost indescribable. I don't usually ask for help, but in this case, it's too much to handle alone. Therefore, I would be truly grateful for any donation, which would allow me to rebuild my house and land after the storm and to realize my plans to eventually offer tourists a place away from the hustle and bustle of the city, in what is otherwise a beautiful area.
