A Humanitarian Appeal from the Heart of Starvation in Gaza
I don’t know where to begin, or how to describe the immense suffering we’re experiencing—but I will try to share a part of our painful reality, in the hope that someone may reach out to help.
We are a family of six from the devastated Gaza Strip. We used to live a simple, yet dignified life. I owned a small business that provided for my family. We worked hard, earned our living honestly, and dreamed of a better future for our children.
But everything changed suddenly with the latest war on Gaza.
My home and business were completely destroyed. I lost everything I owned. Now, I have no shelter, no job, and no way to secure even the most basic necessities of life. I am drowning in debt and unable to feed my family.
Today, I stand helpless in front of my children—with no food, no medicine, no clothing, not even a piece of bread to offer them.
We are now living in a state of real famine.
My children cry—not because they’re sick, but because hunger is eating away at their small bodies.
We go to sleep hungry, wake up to empty stomachs, pale faces, and shattered hope.
I search desperately for anything to feed them: a bit of rice, a can of tuna—bread has become a luxury we can’t afford every day.
Watching them split a single piece of bread breaks me inside. I feel completely powerless as a father who cannot provide food for his children.
Hunger doesn’t just hurt the stomach—it breaks the soul and crushes one’s dignity.
To see your children look at you with pleading eyes while you have nothing but your tears to give… that feeling is indescribable.
We’re not really living… we’re merely trying not to die from starvation.
My two daughters were outstanding university students with bright dreams, but war and hunger have extinguished everything.
No education, no ambition—just a daily struggle to survive.
At first, we created this link hoping to raise funds to travel outside Gaza, seeking safety and dignity. We needed $5,000 per person, a total of $30,000 for the entire family.
Sadly, we couldn’t raise the amount. We have lost everything and have no one left to turn to except God—and the kind hearts of those who may feel our pain.
Due to the deadly hunger and catastrophic humanitarian situation, we now use this donation link just to secure food.
We live day by day, not knowing what we’ll eat tomorrow—or if we’ll even eat at all.
Still, we hold on to hope…
If enough support reaches us, maybe—just maybe—we can one day leave and save our lives.
We kindly appeal to those with merciful hearts:
If you’re able to help us, even with the smallest amount, it could save my family from hunger and restore a bit of dignity and security.
We’re not asking for much—just enough to survive and keep our children from being lost to starvation.
Thank you to everyone who offers a helping hand.
Your kindness means the world to us.
