Rebuild Retrophonics Studios

You might not know him - but you probably know his work.
For over 40 years, Jim DeVito has worked with thousands of artists, ultimately becoming a music production icon - all from his private, home recording studio on the beach of Saint Augustine, FL: Retrophonics Recording Studios.
As analog recording studios have rapidly been moving from 'endangered' to 'extinct', Jim has managed to not only keep Retrophonics in working order, but to also continue working with less-established acts, (including yours truly) bringing his decades of expertise to a new generation of artists who respect the process of vintage analog.
Jim's generosity has touched the lives of countless artists from every corner of the globe; and if you've met him - you won't forget him.
On October 7th, 2016 Jim's home and studio were flooded with almost 4 feet of sea water from Hurricane Matthew.
(The mighty Nancy DeVito in what was previously the control room)
Although many vital pieces of recording gear were evacuated, Jim and his awesome wife, Nancy, lost hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of vintage equipment, including nearly all of their personal belongings.
Jim and Nancy are currently living in a warehouse and spending all day, every day fighting the mold and rebuilding their completely-gutted home.
Jim and Nancy have spent the last 40 years generously giving to the artistic community.
Now, it's time for us to give back.
Please help by making a donation to help get Jim & Nancy back on their feet, repair their home/studio and resume the fostering of new, original music from fresh, talented artists.
Donors of $20 or more will get access to a downloadable compilation of songs recorded at Retrophonics Studios. It's a killer collection of original music by some of todays freshest artists. Feast your ears on true, analog sonics tracked and mixed by the legend himself, Jim DeVito.
Don't miss JJ Grey & MOFRO's Retrophonics Studios Benefit Concert Dec. 28th, (Jim's Birthday) at The Ponte Vedra Music Hall.

Who am I and why am I doing this?
I'm Tony Gialluca from Saint Augustine and am but one of the thousands of aspiring artists Jim & Nancy have helped throughout the years. After learning what had happened to the DeVito's and how the insurance companies were dragging their feet getting them their money and instead offering them ridiculously low offers to 'settle' immediately... Seeing desparate, homeless people being cheated inspired me to put together this fundraiser.
The funds will be spent on restoring the DeVito's home, the studio, and Jim & Nancy's countless personal items lost in the storm. Jim and Nancy will have direct access to the online account for the funds.
