A dear friend of ours, legendary classic alternative dj STEVE WEST , is a TWO time cancer survivor -- thanks to positivity + "weird science" at UC San Diego's Moores Cancer Center.

Moving to town (from across the pond) when he was "only a lad," this legenday figure holds a special place in San Diego's heart -- after all, he introduced us to Oingo Boingo, U2, The Cure, The Smiths, + Depeche Mode.

First diagnosed in 2004  (and again THIS YEAR with a SECOND cancer,) our warrior friend has fought an honorable battle (while working parttime,) BUT, has accumulated a "grey matter"-blowing amount of medical bills in the process...

Being as sensitive to his "private life" as possible, we can assure you that he has given this campaign his blessing -- + any contribution would be received with love and gratitude.
