Help keep the music alive at GuitarWorks Gabriola!

My name is Ben Sams - a lifelong musician and artist, and a member of one of the most unique and musically inclined communities in Canada. Two years ago, after racking my brain for some way to fit into this community rightly, I paired my lifelong love of guitars with my desire to fill gaps in that same community. 

Well, after I put up an initial investment of about fifty thousand dollars, GuitarWorks Gabriola was born, and has become a hub for stringed instrument enthusiasts, guitar geeks and professional performers from around the world. We support all who need a hand, ensuring the integrity of the guitar itself remains the peak priority; our pricing is beyond competitive, and; the creativity coming out of this shop has no limits. 

...so where's the issue?

GuitarWorks Gabriola is a private, not-for-profit, 24/7 workshop, serving over three hundred clients - a number which continues to grow - with everything from repairs and restorations, to artistic customizations and one-off custom builds.

..But being not-for-profit (even if we were a for-profit enterprise), times get tight, and sometimes it comes down to eating or paying the bills, and one suffers. That is not to say that the longevity of GuitarWorks Gabriola is not feasible, or that it is not a viable business; indeed, if it weren't for putting every penny brought in, back into the shop to make a stronger and a more professional place for patrons to pretty-up their prides of stage, we would see enough of a profit to continue comfortably.

But we are just approaching the end of year two, and it has taken quite a substantial piggy bank to get it going and keep it going for the people who need us.

As the sole proprietor of this much needed and appreciated community service, to keep the music alive, keep the Guitars alive and keep the love alive here at GuitarWorks Gabriola, we could use a bit of assistance in doing what I can't seem do by myself: stack up a little prudent reserve so that this community not-for-profit can keep breathing the breath of life back into past loved lutes and continue resurrecting the rhythm for all to enjoy.
