Hi I am Siobhan Daniels.AKA the Retirement Rebel.

In April, I am embarking on a crazy adventure at the age of 66, to encourage women not to give up on having their adventure of a lifetime.

I will be driving thousands of miles solo in a motorhome, from Vancouver to Alaska.

I want to inspire younger women not to fear ageing, and to show older women that they are not too old, and it is not too late! for them to actually have that crazy adventure.

It is good to push yourself out of your comfort zone and face fears. I have never done anything like this before. The idea just popped into my head and it seemed like an exciting challenge, albeit a bit scary too, because it will be the end of winter and conditions could be challenging. I am motivated by the feeling that sharing my challenges on the solo Alaska motorhome trip , may ignite a sense of adventure and excitement in other women . They will see what can be achieved, at any age, when you set your mind to something.

I am fundraising to help me make the film of the trip in Canada, and Alaska and buy kit that I will need to make the film about the ups and downs of the adventure. And pay production to edit it. I am also writing a book during the trip, which will be published at the end of the year, by Vertebrate Publishing.

My first book, RETIREMENT REBEL, about retiring at 60, getting rid of my home and possessions, and finding my happy place with my nomadic life in my 60's, has resonated so much with thousands of you.

Now I want to push myself further and take you all along on this epic journey with me.
