I finally decided to retire 6 months ago, encouraged by the onset of a chronic disease and job fatigue.  I was not totally unprepared for retirement as I had thought about doing it for a while; however, as they say, the best laid plans...

I am now facing an unexpected major personal expense and extended medical needs.

I need assistance and individuals who are immediately close to me are not in a position to help. I have started working from home again and this will help boost my medical expenses fund.  But the personal expense is not going to wait for me to build up funds. 

So I'm going extremely out of my comfort zone - having to face self-judgment for allowing myself to get in this position. Please know that I appreciate any consideration you can give me.  If now is not the time, I understand.
