After 32 years of teaching and coaching, Coach Stovall is finally retiring. He has touched the hearts and minds of so many people through the years as a teacher and especially as a coach. After discussing what Coach's plans are during his retirement, he talked about spending more time with his grandson's, traveling with his wife, coaching youth baseball, and playing more golf. If you have ever played golf with him, you know he has the same irons he got in the mid 70's. After a couple of grip changes and many many bad golf shots, he spoke of buying a new set for himself that would be fit for his swing and ability so he could enjoy playing the game more. A few of his former players thought it would be great to put together a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for him to purchase a nice set of clubs and a few rounds of golf. For as much as hes's done for his ex-students and athletes over the years during and after their time at school, this is a way we can say "Thank you Coach for being more than a coach."
