Retirement Community Server Looking for Aid

Hello, my name is David. I was in an accident a couple of years ago, and it caused my back to go out. Last year, I had surgery on my back to try and heal it. Unfortunately, this surgery didn't take, and now I'm suffering from a dead and herniated disk. I am currently working at a retirement community (Fairwinds at Sandcreek) as a server to be there for our residents. It breaks my heart that as of three weeks ago, I am no longer able to function and provide for the residents I care so much about.

I'm currently on bed rest awaiting an implant in my spine to relieve the pain. However, because of all this time being bedridden, my bills are piling up, and I'm losing way more than I'm making. I'm falling behind on most of my bills. This saddens me greatly as well as the stress it's causing my mother, who is currently my caregiver.

I would not ask if I wasn't desperate. I understand that there are people who are in much more need than I am. I'm only looking for a little bit of help to get me through until I'm back on my feet. Thank you for your consideration, and know that every dollar will be going to a good cause.
