Retired K9 Kuma’s Surgery

Hello, the SSK9 Association is attempting to raise funds for Retired K9 Kuma. In June of 2021 Kuma was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma in his mouth. In August of 2021 he underwent radiation treatment and since then there has been no signs of the cancer returning.

Unfortunately Kuma has had some other side effects from the radiation treatment, which caused necrosis of his gums. Kuma has already undergone one surgery to close up the gap from the necrosis and he has one final surgery to close up the remainder so he can enjoy the rest of his retirement healthy. Other than this Kuma is a healthy dog and just shy of his 10th birthday.

The SSK9 Association was established with one of the main goals to provide the funding for medical care of our retired K9 partners. Our Association is a non profit organization and exists due to our loving community support. All donations are to the SSK9 Association 501(c)(3) and are tax deductible.
