Hello Everyone,

We are Bruce and Sharon Ellsworth and we live in San Diego, CA.

A few years ago, we bought a 2008 Toyota Prius that was in great shape. A week later, it was stolen! The good news was that we found it a couple days later. But, the bad news was that whoever stole it also severely wrecked it up. The whole axle is broken and since then, it has been undrivable.

So then came the unavoidable situation of getting the car repaired. And suddenly, COVID interrupted all of our lives. We had already been vaccinated, so Bruce's COVID was not a severe case. But now, we are both seniors who are retired with fixed Social Security income. We both have faced chronic health and mobility problems. In addition to all this, we also a fire in our apartment. Then sadly, Sharon's mother and brother passed away within two months of each other and we had to make a trip to the Midwest.

So unfortunately, our car has not been repaired yet. We do not have the funds to get it fixed. Taking the public transportation has become difficult with our lack of mobility and also very time-consuming. Using Lyft to get to our doctors' appointments is getting too expensive.

Would you be able to please help us finally get our car repaired?! We would appreciate all of your support. We won't be able to accomplish our goal without you!
