Hello, my name is Rossy. I am 23 years old, live in Cuzco, Peru, and come from a very poor family. I recently received my teaching certificate for early childhood education to help support my family.

Since I was a baby I have had problems with cataracts in my eyes. This week I traveled to Lima for a checkup at Oftalmosalud and have been informed that I am about to lose my eyesight due to the retina in my left eye being detached. I am in urgent need of 2 surgeries which I cannot afford. I am particularly worried that I may not be able to continue supporting my family.
