retina & cataract surgery

Hi my name is Jameela, I am fundraising for my husband Khalid. Initially he was diagnosed with cataract on his left eye and the he had his operation which was not successful, so he lost his vision. He was also diagnosed with Retina degeneration on his right eye, and on the 10th of January 2024, had cyclodiode laser treatment which he lost his vision again on the remaining eye.

He had Visual Acuity (Assessment for vision) and Dr declared him no perception of light for both eyes meaning he is total blind for both eyes. He lost his vision for both eyes completely and he was given Full Blind Certificate.

Apart from the eyes he was diagnosed with Kidney failure, which he needed Kidney dialysis three times a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

I am appealing for this funding so I can take my husband abroad for Private Hospital for further investigation and treatment, as we have been told there is chance to get his vision back if he go abroad for treatment, but the treatment is very expensive. So we ask what ever you have pleaser donate even if you think is small but I am sure it will
