Keeping attorney

Hi everyone,

Some of you know my situation and for those who do not know, I left a 9 year long abusive relationship with the father of my kid in late October. As of right now, I am on government assistance while I get back up on my feet and am in the process of starting Welfare-to-work. I plan to go back to school in the Spring of 2024, and finish getting my degree in Kinesiology to then transfer to a 4-year university. However, It has been made clear that I can't go to the next hearing without an attorney. My next hearing is on January 12th of 2024 and it is in regards to the restraining order that I submitted against my daughter's father. Standing before the judge and speaking in front of my abuser, plus his attorney is very intimidating. Please, donate whatever you can or get the word out.
