Dear Friends,

On Sunday, May 7, we experienced an act of vandalism at Light Street Church when a man climbed the side of our building and destroyed a 10 foot rainbow flag, which represents our love and solidarity for the LGBTQ+ community.

We love the idea of giving a big donation to a local advocacy organization that is fighting for queer people every day in response to this unfortunate event. Would you consider a donation to our cause?

The first $350 raised will be used to replace our destroyed rainbow flag. Every dollar after that will be donated to Free State Justice, a Baltimore-based, statewide LGBTQ+ advocacy organization that provides direct legal services and policy advocacy for LGBTQ+ Marylanders, with an emphasis on low-income accessibility. Because the real story here is not a single act of vandalism but a strong community made stronger through love, mutual aid, and justice. Let's tell that story!
