Restoring vision in Rwanda

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Katherine McGinnity, I'm an ophthalmology registrar in the Belfast Trust. Together with colleagues we travelled to Rwanda earlier this year.
We have raised amazing funds to date, this is our last effort Christmas Appeal to make £28k. We have trained two Rwandan eye doctors in modern cataract surgery and they have combined completed 3,500 cases independently since our first visit in 2024.
This new machine will transform the lives of many more people in a much safer way restoring their sight and independence. Please consider a gift donation for a loved one this Christmas. As a special thank you, I will send you a personalised gift card acknowledging your donation. Just provide your address for a physical card, or let me know if you prefer an email receipt. You can message me directly via gofundme or send me a message on instagram via Kath Mc.

Cataract is the leading cause of preventable blindness in their country. We must not let Africa stay behind the curve of modern cataract surgery techniques. Thank you so much for your generosity.
