As Paul’s family member, I will be writing on his behalf:
During these unprecedented times, we as a community are hit with a multitude of hardships. On August 10, 2020, Paul Young’s shop was a victim of vicious theft and property damage resulting in a loss of precious assets collected over 30 years. Those who do not know Paul will tell you that he’s selfless, caring and welcoming. He’s always accepting of others, and has an open door policy with no judgement and no hate. With a volatile economy and a perpetual pandemic, adding this to the list makes it more heart-wrenching.
This may be a small business but with the abundant support of his customers, this shop is his life. Paul says his customers are “number one.” They are the ones who’ve made him a loyal and honest man. He thrives off of creating new and existing relationships with anyone that walks through his doors. When he closes on a holiday, he’s always willing to open up shop for those who are in need of his presence. We are beyond thankful Paul and his employee’s are safe. However, it’s going to take time and support to repair his shop.
We want to say thank you to those who not only helped Paul clean up his shop, but to those who have been reaching out! Paul is immensely grateful to everyone and is left in awe with the amount of love he is receiving.
