Restoring the Roberts Family’s Legacy After Altadena Fire

My mom Patricia Roberts and grandmother, Bobbie Roberts recently lost our home in the Altadena Eaton Fire—a home that has been in our family for generations. Our house was not just a building but a legacy, as our family was one of the many Black families to purchase a home in Altadena. The loss is deeply felt, but we are grateful that my mom and grandmother are safe. While we’ve been reluctant to ask for help right now, we recognize it’s necessary during this time.
