I am Youssef Abu Jayyab (Joe), I was born in Gaza, and I have lived here until now. I am still alive and looking for safety with my family. Since childhood, I have been told that dreams in this city do not come true. I was convinced that I was in a big prison that I could not get out of and that it was impossible to visit the other side of the country because Gaza was besieged.

After years of planning and working, I was able to obtain a permit to enter the occupied territories. My dream began to come true. Yes, I was able to break out of the barrier besieging Gaza, to leave it and see the country of my ancestors.

I began my career in creating content, conveying another image of our country, Palestine, reflecting its beauty and richness in culture. Through my videos, I tried to convey the feelings of the Gazans, who are deprived of seeing their country. And I became the youngest traveler and explorer in Palestine!

With the Israeli bombardment, our lives have changed, forever. Dreams shattered, souls lost, houses bombed… My family’s home has been reduced to rubble and we became refugees in our own home, Gaza.

If God prolongs my life, you will see the details of this journey. You will see tears for days but you will also see the resilience and hope in our people too.

Our mission:

We believe in the power of changing one story at a time for storytellers like Joe. This campaign seeks to provide financial aid, support, and hope to Joe and his family. Our mission is to:

Provide emergency needs and essentials: We will help Joe and his family in rebuilding a new home and provide them with the basic necessitates they need once the war is over or as soon as they announce a ceasefire. Extend immediate emergency support in terms of monthly cash allowance to Joe’s family, ensuring sustained assistance until they reach a stable state, and continue to provide this support for six months.

Photography Equipment Kit: Support Joe in recovering his lost equipment and camera so that he can continue his work documenting his city. This will empower him to continue his creative journey and capture the beauty and resilience of Palestine through the lens of the youngest Palestinian traveler.

Invest in Joe’s Education: helping Joe on his educational journey. Joe is in his 12th grade and dreams to continue his education despite all the challenges. Your contributions will enable him to acquire the knowledge and skills he needs to excel in his field and make a lasting impact. We are also working on finding suitable scholarships to cover the university cost through formal communication with several institutions.

It is an international non-profit organization, comprised of international students and faculties, working in solidarity for a complete end to occupation and just peace in the region. اسمي يوسف أبو جياب (جو) وأنا مولود في غزة وعشت فيها كل حياتي. أنا لسا عايش وقاعد بدور على مكان آمن لعيلتي. من وأنا صغير، كان ينحكالي أنه الأحلام في هاي المدينة ما بتتحقق. كنت مقتنع إني عايش في سجن كبير و إني ما بقدر أشوف النص الثاني من البلد لأنه غزة محاصرة. بعد شغل كثير وتخطيط قدرت أحصّل على تصريح زيارة مشان أزور المناطق المحتلة. حلمي بدأ يتحقق.. أخيرا قدرت أطلع من جدار غزة المحاصرة وأشوف أرض أجدادي.

بدأت من وقتها شغلي في صناعة المحتوى الي من خلاله فرجيت العالم شكل ثاني لفلسطين. وعكست غنى حضارتها وثقافتها. حاولت من خلال فيديوهاتي أوصل مشاعر أهل غزة الي محرومين من شوفة بلادهم وصرت أصغر رحالة في فلسطين!

حياتنا تغيرت مع القصف الإسرائيلي بشكل جذري. أحلامنا تدمرت وناس كثير استشهدوا أو بيوتهم انقصفت… بيت أهلي صار رُكام وصرنا لاجئين في مدينتنا في غزة. إذا الله بطوّل عمري، رح أوثق تفاصيل رحلتي، كثير رح تشوفو دموع بس رح تشوفو صمودنا كمان.

مهمتنا:

نؤمن بأهمية دعم أصحاب القصص الملهمة فردَا فردًا.. ونهدف في هذه الحملة لتعزيز صمود يوسف وعائلته من خلال توفير الدعم المادي والنفسي.

الدعم المادي للحالات الطارئة: نهدف مساعدة يوسف و عائلته في اعادة بناء منزل جديد وتوفير دعم طارئ فوري من خلال منح مصروف شهري لعائلة يوسف، مما يضمن تقديم المساعدة المستمرة إلى أن يصلوا إلى بر الأمان، نهدف إلى تقديم الدعم المادي لمدة ستة أشهر.

مجموعة معدات التصوير: مهمتنا الرئيسية هي دعم يوسف من خلال توفير المعدات اللازمة له ليتمكن من صناعة المحتوى الفلسطيني من جديد. سيمكنه ذلك من مواصلة رحلته الإبداعية وتوثيق جمال وصمود فلسطين بصفته أصغر رحالة فلسطيني.

الاستثمار في تعليم يوسف: نهدف إلى مساعدة يوسف في إكمال رحلته التعليمية، يوسف في الصف الثاني عشر (توجيهي) ويحلم بمواصلة تعليمه رغم كل التحديات. تبرعاتكم مهمة لتمكينه من اكتساب المعرفة والمهارات التي يحتاجها ليتفوق في مجال دراسته وليُدم أثر عمله. نعمل أيضاً على البحث عن منح دراسية مناسبة لتغطية تكاليف الجامعة من خلال التواصل الرسمي مع عدة مؤسسات.

Je m'appelle Youssef Abu Jayyab (Joe), je suis né à Gaza et j'y ai vécu toute ma vie. Ma famille et moi sommes toujours en vie et cherchons un abri sur. Depuis mon enfance, on me dit que les rêves dans cette ville ne se réalisent pas. Répondre aux besoins d'urgence et aux produits essentiels: nous aiderons Joe et sa famille à reconstruire une nouvelle maison et leur fournirons les produits de première nécessité dont ils ont besoin une fois la guerre terminée ou dès l’annonce d’un cessez-le-feu. Étendre une aide d’urgence immédiate sous forme d’allocation mensuelle en espèces à la famille de Joe, en garantissant une assistance durable jusqu’à ce qu’elle atteigne un état stable, tout en continuant à fournir ce soutien pendant six mois.

Kit d'équipement photographique: Aider Joe à récupérer son équipement et son appareil photo perdus afin qu'il puisse continuer son travail de documentation de sa ville, Gaza. Estaba convencido de que vivía en una gran prisión de la que no podía salir y que era imposible visitar el otro lado del país porque Gaza estaba sitiada.

Ich bin Youssef Abu Jayyab (Joe genannt). Ich wurde in Gaza geboren und lebe dort bis heute. Ich bin noch am Leben und suche mit meiner Familie nach Sicherheit. Seit meiner Kindheit wurde mir gesagt, dass Träume in dieser Stadt nicht in Erfüllung gehen. Ich war überzeugt, dass ich in einem riesigen Gefängnis saß, aus dem Befreiung unmöglich war, und dass ich nie die andere Seite des Landes besuchen könne, weil Gaza unter Blockade stand.

Nach jahrelanger Arbeit und Planung bekam ich eine Erlaubnis, die besetzten Gebiete zu betreten. Mein Traum begann in Erfüllung zu gehen. Ja, ich konnte durch die Mauer des belagerten Gazastreifens brechen, ihn verlassen und das Land meiner Vorfahren sehen. Ich begann meine Karriere als Content Creator, um ein anderes Bild unseres Landes Palästina zu vermitteln, seine Schönheit und reiche Kultur zu reflektieren. Durch meine Videos versuchte ich die Gefühle der Menschen aus Gaza zu zeigen, die davon abgehalten werden, ihr Land zu sehen. Und ich wurde der jüngste Reisende und Entdecker in Palästina!

Die israelische Bombardierung hat unser Leben für immer verändert. Träume wurden zerstört, Seelen verloren, Häuser zerbombt... Mein Elternhaus wurde dem Erdboden gleich gemacht und wir wurden in unserem eigenen Zuhause Gaza zu Flüchtlingen.
