Restoring Hope for Rachel and Craig After the Wildfire
Donation protected
Monique Sondag here, Rachel’s (favorite—ha!) sister, reaching out from Texas. We are raising funds to support Rachel and Craig after the devastating Altadena wildfire. Being states away can leave you feeling helpless, but this is a way we can come together to help them.
Rachel and Craig had saved for years to purchase their first home, nestled on a sweet street called Poppyfields. It was a home filled with charm, a stunning view of the mountains, the most wonderful neighbors, and a beautiful yard brimming with potential—a dream for Rachel, who loves gardening. This was a special milestone for them—a bright new chapter they were excited to grow into together.
Incredibly, their home was one of the only ones on their block that was not completely incinerated by the fire. However, it suffered heavy smoke and soot damage, leaving them displaced and facing months of restoration. The winds, which reached up to 99 mph, tore through the area, uprooting trees and devastating nearly every home around them, including their immediate neighbor’s. The destruction is hard to comprehend.
For those who know Rachel and Craig, you know they would never ask for help. This is our opportunity to show them love and support as they navigate this challenging time.

Every contribution, no matter the size, truly means so much. Thank you for helping Rachel and Craig through this incredibly difficult time.
