My name is Asani Samuels, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my fellow Jamaicans who have been deeply affected by the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa. One of the hardest-hit areas is my hometown, Savanna-la-Mar in Westmoreland, where countless families have lost their homes and livelihoods. Schools, hospitals, and roads have been destroyed, and many are still without electricity, food, or clean water.
