I'm raising funds to help a dear friend who is currently homeless in Alabama. She lost her husband, and since his passing, her life has changed dramatically. She survives on disability income, which is not enough to secure stable housing, and she is doing the best she can with almost nothing.

Right now, she lives outdoors and cooks her food over an open fire. She has dogs who are her family and her protection, and she refuses to abandon them even in the hardest conditions. Every day is about survival — staying warm, finding food, and keeping herself and her dogs safe.

This fundraiser is to help her with immediate needs like temporary shelter, a vehicle, food, supplies, and dog care, and to work toward something more stable so she doesn't have to keep living this way.
