“I am Ayah Maima, and I am creating this campaign on behalf of Islam Maima’’

My name is Islam. I am a father of two young children, a husband, a son, and a brother. I used to live a simple but stable life in Gaza, working every day to support my family and provide them with dignity, safety, and love.

But the recent war destroyed everything we had.

Our home was reduced to rubble. I lost my job. Our lives were turned upside down overnight. Now, I live in unbearable conditions with my wife, our two children, my elderly parents, and also my brother’s wife and her little son, who have no one else to turn to. We are all crowded together, struggling to survive with no income, no shelter, and barely enough food or clean water.

Every day is a fight for basic needs — just to find a meal, clean drinking water, clothes for the children, or a safe corner to sleep in. The pain of watching my children go to sleep hungry, or seeing my elderly parents sit in silence with nothing, is something I can never fully explain.

I am doing everything I can, but I can no longer do it alone. I am reaching out to you — to kind-hearted people around the world — asking for help.

Your support, no matter how small, can help us find food, medicine, clothing, and hopefully a safe place to sleep. It can help us survive another day.

We are not looking for luxury — we are just trying to survive and protect our loved ones from the cold, the hunger, and the fear that has taken over our lives.
