Restoring Confidence and Connection Through Technology – Computing with Joy
My name is Joyce, and I am the founder of Computing with Joy, Inc.
I created this nonprofit with a clear and heartfelt mission:
to help people feel confident, capable, and connected in a world that is moving forward through technology.
Every day, I meet individuals who feel left behind.
Seniors who are overwhelmed and unsure where to begin.
Returning citizens who are working to rebuild their lives but lack the digital skills needed to move forward.
What I see in both is not a lack of ability—
but a lack of patient, compassionate guidance.
Too often, people are rushed, dismissed, or made to feel inadequate when they don’t understand technology. Over time, that turns into dependence, frustration, and loss of confidence.
I do this differently.
I teach with patience.
I teach with understanding.
I teach with compassion.
And most importantly, I teach with love.
This work is not just about learning how to use a phone or a computer.
It is about restoring confidence, dignity, independence, and connection.
I work one-on-one with individuals, helping them navigate everyday technology—sending emails, understanding their devices, solving simple problems, and building the confidence to do things on their own.
Now, I am ready to grow.
My vision is to train Digital Navigators who will carry this same approach into the community—teaching not just skills, but people.
Your support will help:
Expand hands-on training for seniors and returning citizens
Develop simple, easy-to-follow learning materials
Train compassionate Digital Navigators
Reach more individuals who need guidance, encouragement, and support
This is about more than technology.
This is about making sure no one feels left behind.
This is about restoring a sense of worth and possibility.
This is about meeting people where they are—and walking forward with them.
Real people. Real growth. Real confidence being built every day.
If this speaks to your heart, I invite you to support this mission.
And if you’re not able to give, sharing this with others means just as much.
Together, we can bring confidence, connection, and dignity back into people’s lives.
