Restore Colorado Freedom Memorial

I would like to tell the story in the words of Rick Crandall, who has worked tirelessy and with unparalled devotion to the Colorado Freedom Memorial. It is so much more than restoring a panel of glass, it is honoring our veterans, those who gave all... so please consider your donation today.  Replacing this panel is estimated at $55,000 and any additional funds we raise will help support much needed surveillance for the Memorial.  Thank you for considering The Colorado Freedom Memorial.

It breaks my heart to have to share this with you, and on Independence Day weekend of all times. Sometime yesterday a panel of the Colorado Freedom Memorial was completely shattered in what appears to be a random act of vandalism. I discovered the damage early this morning when I arrived to spruce up the Memorial for the 4th and notified the Police, who are calling this "Suspicious - Vandalism." What a sad comment it is that a place that honors Colorado's fallen who gave their lives defending the Freedom we celebrate on the 4th, would be subject to this. While we have insurance I'm certain it won't be enough to cover the cost of replacing the panel, which will be close to $55k. Should you visit the Memorial please refrain from touching the shattered panel and we'll keep you updated on our progress of replacing the glass.
