Restore Yazan's Life: A Call for Compassion
Donation protected
I am Yazan Abo Dalal, 16 years old, from the Nusirat camp in Gaza. I came out of a shroud alive after everyone thought I was a martyr. Allah saved me so I could tell the world about the crime that happened to me and my five cousins.
While we were together playing on the roof, shells surrounded us from all directions and all my cousins were martyred. I was the only survivor, but I lost my legs. I wished very much that I had gone to heaven like them because of the intensity of the pain.
But I am strong now and determined to complete my life’s journey. HEAL Palestine brought me, my mother, and baby sister to the United States for me to get prosthetic legs, but my other sister and two brothers are still in Gaza. I look forward to reuniting my family. I am requesting your support and assistance to complete my life in a way that pleases Allah.
Your donation and support will help my family to have a better life. My oldest brother lost his hearing aid during this war and is unable to hear.
I love the life that Allah has given me.
Once again, I will continue strong thanks to your support of my father and mother, my vessel for me, and your support.
