Restore Uncle Al's Life After Tragic Fire Loss
Donation protected
I am writing this for a family friend who we have all called Uncle Al all our lives. He has lost everything. Yesterday, his home in Tucson, AZ, burned down. The entire house burned down, including major damage to his vehicle. Uncle Al is 85 years old, an amazing photographer who is also humble, giving, and always there if you need a hand. Al has made his living selling his art at galleries across the country. With all of his belongings, his photography equipment that was his livelihood was also in the fire. We are grateful that he and his beloved dog were able to get out without harm. The aftermath is now to get him and his dog back into a home and try to replace the essentials. Al has severe impairment in his legs and back that he has had all his life and has difficulty getting around. He has had to use a cane most his life but in the fire, he also lost an electric wheelchair that took him two years to get. We are hoping we can get a little help to get him back in a safe home. As a self-employed artist, Al has always had to live month to month, but his love of photography has always gotten him through the hard times. He had always offered my dad a place to stay whenever he was traveling through no matter what his situation was, Al has never asked of anything in return. There are some things a fire can never replace in a home, but please help us give him back a small piece to start over. God bless.
