Timmy Farish is a member of our triathlon community who resides in Louisville, MS. Like so many members of our community, Timmy was training for a triathlon, when he was struck by a vehicle on the evening of August 23, 2025.

When we are training, regardless of how many safety precautions we’ve taken to ensure we’re as safe as possible, we all have that creeping thought in the back of our minds… that on some of those lonely, less traveled roads, a distracted driver could end our training session the way we all fear - by being struck by a vehicle.

He was transported by ambulance to the Emergency Room for his injuries. Thankfully, Timmy survived the accident, and he will be able to train again. While Timmy survived, his bike, helmet and cycling shoes were all lost to the accident.

Many of us are lucky enough that if this were to happen to us, we could replace our equipment and get back to training once we’d recovered.

This isn’t the case for Timmy, and he could use our help!

It is my hope, that our incredible and supportive Triathlon Community can come together and help Timmy procure what he lost. Timmy supports the Triathlon community by attending racing events in the Southeast as he can manage. In his undeniably Timmy style, paints his body in the theme of the race and carries the American flag. It would be amazing if we came together to get Timmy what he needs to continue his love for the sport of Triathlon.

My goal is to raise $8,500 and cover medical expenses purchase his Bike, Helmet and Shoes through Jed's Perfect Endurance Bikes located in Hattiesburg MS.
