My name is Hillary Goldstein and along with Anna Maria Desipris, I am a co-founder of the Bloom Homeschool Nature Co-op. At Bloom Co-op, we believe that a farm can become the classroom for the next generation.

By creating a space for meaningful collaboration, shared responsibility, and creative problem‑solving, Bloom Co-op is a farm‑based homeschool enrichment program designed for families seeking a holistic, land‑rooted framework for their children’s education. We meet weekly at Sun & Bloom Farms in Lebanon, MO where parents lead activities that connect children to the natural world through hands-on learning, creativity, and shared responsibility.

Much of our time is spent exploring the farm and surrounding forest—but the heart of our gathering space is a simple lean-to greenhouse. It’s where children come together for snack time, crafts, and rest. It’s a place to warm up on cold days, take shelter when it rains, and slow down together in the middle of outdoor play.

After the recent hailstorms on April 27th and 28th, that space was severely damaged. The greenhouse roof was left covered in holes, rendering it unusable for the children.

We are humbly asking our community for help restoring this special space.

I am organizing a fundraiser on behalf of our nature-based homeschool co-op. All funds raised will go directly toward repairing the greenhouse space used by our children.

Estimated costs:
$1500 Greenhouse corrugated polycarbonate roofing panels
$1500 Additional materials (gutters, silicone, screws)
$500 Labor
$500 Contingency for unexpected repairs

If we are fortunate enough to raise more than our goal, additional funds will go back into the co-op to strengthen and improve the space for the children as we grow.

Every contribution—no matter the size—helps bring this space back to life.

Thank you for supporting these children and the kind of childhood we’re trying to protect.
