Restore The Duck Pond Mural

Donation protected
My name is Dan Fontes, I was born in Oakland and restored my Giraffe and Zebra murals beneath Oakland's 580 freeway over the last year with the help of gofundme and hundreds of people who donated. I've been a practicing artist for 36 years.  In 1994 I painted a pair of giant ducks on the exterior of the cinderblock restrooms at the ballfield at the park in Oakland's Montclair district.  While it lasted for many years it was painted over way too soon.  The restrooms are being restored now for public use again largely due to the efforts of Vice Mayor Annie Campbell Washington.

I need the funds for acrylic paint supplies, assistant stipends, photography, printing a final poster and a small salary for myself.  Each of these big animal figures takes two to three weeks to restore.   Everyone who comes by and uses the park sees the big ducks

The plan for this restoration is to reprint the mural and recoat the wall with 4-5 coats of anti-graffiti sealer hopefully by the end of summer. Although covered in antigraffiti varnish before too many coats of paint would now make a chemical removal too toxic with all the kids who play there so I'd prefer to just repaint them.  This project means everything to me. My murals are my children. Thank you for any help offered.
