In December 2025, I made my first car purchase, a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek. In February of 2025, I drove that car over 600 miles to Miami, Florida, to work for 7 months.

On March 31, 2025, my Subaru was stolen, taken for a reckless joyride, used as a hangout to do drugs in, and ultimately abandoned on the side of the road only 5 minutes from where it was taken. The police recovered the vehicle with significant damage.

Throughout the day, I was on the phone with my insurance adjuster, my dealer, and my loan servicer. I learned that there were huge gaps in my policy, and I had no coverage for theft or collision.

I am asking for help to get her back to her former glory.

This has been an incredibly difficult time while I am working away from home. Almost a month later, and I am still on the phone with the police & my insurance regularly, as well as coordinating with the auto body repair shop. There will be no payout for me from my insurance, this has been made clear. I'm feeling very worn down & any financial assistance you can give me at this time is very much appreciated.
